Finchley Foil held its first Inter Club Competition on January 21st for under 11's and under 13's.It was a great success. There were fencers from Camden Fencing Club and St. Benedict's fencing Club from Ealing taking part. There was a great buzz at the club. Parents and fencers said they had a great day and are looking forward to the next one in March at St. Benedict's. Finchley Foil had two teams in each of the age groups U11's and U13's) with a total of 18 of the club fencers taking part. For some this was their first time taking part in a team event. The competition is a friendly competition and it is hoped that it will encourage more children and parents to enter competitions on a more regular basis. The aim is to give the fencers confidence to enter events and gives them experience fencing different opponents. For further information and entry forms please click this logo or the link.
